Contract Summary: MILVETS Systems
Technology, Inc. (MILVETS) is a subcontractor to Chugach Systems
Integration, LLC (Chugach). On April 17, 2000, Chugach Systems
Integration, LLC was awarded an IDIQ contract with a ceiling of
$80,000,000. The contract, known as the Temporary Professional Services
contract which contains 44 labor categories and job descriptions that can
accommodate any requirement for professional, administrative and
information technology services. The contract was designed to provide an
efficient mechanism for the Department of State to identify and acquire
qualified candidates to provide project-based services to the client
bureaus on short notice. The contract vehicle can be used to extend the
term of WAE staffers who have exhausted their respective term of service
as well as to staff new projects requiring cleared personnel with unique
technological or subject matter expertise. MILVETS maintains an
active database of qualified personnel that can be accessed remotely or be
queried by the client or prime. The contract provided invaluable personnel
expertise in support of the Department of State.
Scope Of
Work: MILVETS as subcontractor provides the necessary
personnel, facilities, equipment, materials, data, supplies and/or
services to perform its portion under the statement of work.
MILVETS also provides such data and support to Chugach as may be
required to price and/or negotiate any change under the prime contract
that pertains to work to be performed below. MILVETS is an integral
part of the subject contract. MILVETS was provided the opportunity
of supplying up to 49% of the labor hour billings required in the
contract. MILVETS participation percentage is affected by the
successful identification of requirements made by our team. The Department
of State’s requirements identified solely by MILVETS has personnel
assignments weighted to achieve MILVETS task orders at 49% of
identified requirement, subject to adherence to the 51%/49% total contract
ratios. MILVETS supplies and supports the hardware and software
used to support the Temporary Professional Services database and modifies
the database software and hardware for offsite input of information.
MILVETS retains ownership of the hardware and software used to
support the database. MILVETS provides passwords and access to the
TPS database, including, but not limited to, all electronic information,
hard copy files, training for the DoS staff regarding information database
management, search procedures, resume access procedures, report formats,
inquiry notification procedures, and data input services. |
